Hold a online, short film/video contest. A panel of independent judges and the online audience will vote for the winning submission. Votes will be weighed 60% judges and 40% audience. Immediately start the promotion of a short film contest with a single, first prize of $10K. Filmmakers of all backgrounds and skill levels will be welcome to participate. Submissions may be of any subject matter, with some exceptions, like gratuitous nudity. Promotion will be conducted via several social-bookmarking sites like digg, youtube, and twitter. A separate campaign will attempt to inform teachers at select film schools to garner more involvement.
